These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Canela PawScan™ service, application, and related products (“Service”) provided by Canela Labs Co., Ltd. (“Canela Labs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
· You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.
· You represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
· Canela PawScan™ is a digital measurement tool designed to capture canine paw dimensions for the purpose of manufacturing custom-fit products.
· The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. User Compliance with Guidelines
Canela PawScan™ relies on accurate photographs taken in accordance with the measurement guidelines provided in the app, on our website, or in any official Canela Labs documentation. It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure that all photographs are taken exactly as instructed, including but not limited to:
a. Correct paw positioning
b. Proper lighting and focus
c. Inclusion of required reference markers or calibration objects
d. Capturing the full paw area as specified
2. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Any measurement inaccuracies, sizing errors, or fit issues resulting from photographs that do not strictly follow the provided guidelines will be deemed the result of user error. In such cases:
a. Canela Labs will not be liable for any resulting product misfit, discomfort, or performance issues
b. No refunds, replacements, or adjustments will be provided free of charge
c. The user will bear all costs for any re-measurement, re-manufacturing, or shipping
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canela Labs shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, claims, or losses — including but not limited to veterinary costs, injury, or dissatisfaction — arising from measurement inaccuracies caused by failure to follow the official photo-taking guidelines.
4. User Acknowledgement
By using Canela PawScan™, you acknowledge and agree that:
a. Accurate measurement depends on your adherence to the provided instructions
b. Failure to comply voids any warranty or guarantee related to sizing accuracy
c. You accept full responsibility for any outcomes resulting from non-compliant photographs
· All prices are listed in the currency specified at checkout and are subject to change without notice.
· Payment must be made in full before production begins.
· Refunds are only available in accordance with our Refund Policy, which excludes cases covered under Section 4 above.
· All content, trademarks, and technology used in the Service are owned by or licensed to Canela Labs.
· You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.
· Except as expressly required by law, Canela Labs' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service in question.
· You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canela Labs, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
· Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://pawscan.canelalabs.com/privacypolicy
· These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
· You agree that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or any related transaction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
· You hereby submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts for the resolution of any such matters.
· We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
